“Main Street Oneonta to host Downtown Oneonta Sidewalk Sales Festival, Saturday July 18th”
Join Main Street Oneonta on Saturday July 18th from 9am-5pm for the annual Sidewalk Sales Festival. Come down to Main Street in Oneonta; bring your family and friends for a day of children’s activities, summer sales and more.
Live music will be a part of the day’s festivities as well; including traveling accordion music from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Stoddard Hollow String Band’s acoustic wandering minstrels from to 5p.m.
New to this year’s event is singer and storyteller “Tiger” Tom. Join “Tiger” Tom for performances in the Muller Plaza at 11a.m., 1p.m., and 3p.m. as he springs his Stories and Songs to life with a large measure of: Action and Silly Songs, Storytelling, Movement, Laughter, Sing-a-long, Props, Learning, and Audience Participation.
The farmers’ market will run from 8a.m. to 5p.m. at the Muller Plaza, featuring a special Holistic Health Day event in addition to the usual array of local fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products, cut flowers and more. Holistic Health Day features will include chair massage with Chanda – let the stress roll right off! Free tasting, informational display on mind and body health, and live entertainment by the Badra Bahiya Belly dancing troupe at 11am.
